I always knew I wanted to be writer. Even when people told me over and over again “You’re never going to be able to do anything with a degree in English,” I didn’t listen.
Stories keep the past alive and the future propelling forward, and we need storytellers to take on that task.
As a fresh college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, I continued to write, but I also merged my passion for baking with that talent and began working on recipe development for multiple lifestyle blogs. I eventually opened my own bakery, and I continued to write and edit for as many publications as I could on the side. Ultimately, closing my business was the best decision to make at the time, and it led me to a career in writing, marketing, and event planning. But even with years of community and college event planning under my belt, I still felt the need to write. I couldn’t leave it alone.
Today, I’m thrilled to tell the stories of business owners, first-time moms, winemakers, and everything in between.
Words are my thing. Stories are my passion.
And I’d love to write one for you.
